28 Mar Parenting Strategies To Set Kids Up For Success
Life has no guarantees. As adults, we certainly know this well. However, supposedly, based on numerous research studies, there are some parenting strategies more likely to set children up for success. TLC suggests that you share this list (and future TLC Play & Parenting Newsletters) with your co-parent. Perhaps a good place to begin a conversation would be to define the word success. What does it mean to be successful? Which traits do you value as a family? Which of these 11 parenting strategies can you both imagine implementing in your home?
For families who have been part of The Loved Child community for some time, it should already be quite obvious that TLC values teaching and supporting social skills in young children. On that note, our first group developmental activity will highlight social-emotional development.
