10 Jan 5 Resolutions That Will Make You a Better Parent This Year
Welcome to the winter semester! If you are a new family joining The Loved Child, welcome to our growing TLC community! We have designed a 10-week semester filled with creative and fun group projects for the little ones, supportive and educational topics for the caregivers- all contained within the very predictable weekly class routine.
Please do take a moment to read the Welcome Letter recently sent out via email and review all the TLC policies around weather, make-up classes, illness, parking, etc. Some of the main points are printed in the column to the right (along with some of the upcoming events and programs- many free- available at The Loved Child).
Also, a very warm welcome to TLC’s newest instructor, Julie Krathen, MA. You can read all about Julie’s extensive training, education, and experience supporting families with young children on the TLC Instructor website page. Julie will begin her work at TLC by teaching classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. Julie brings many years of professional experience to The Loved Child along with her own personal experience parenting her adorable daughter.
We now have a tradition at The Loved Child to begin the winter semester with new year’s resolutions specifc to parents with young children. Click here to enjoy these 5 resolutions created by Dr. Laura.
Practicing these is the work of a lifetime, so you still won’t be perfect in a year — in fact, you might make these same resolutions next year! But I guarantee you’ll be a more peaceful parent, with a happier, more cooperative child.
