We all have parenting instincts that kick in after our babies are born, but informing those instincts with evidence-based information and expert advice makes raising babies with confidence so much easier. Topics include:

  • bringing baby home
  • infant sleep patterns & expectations
  • how to know what your baby wants by reading his or her cues
  • the importance of taking care of the caregiver(s)
  • feeding choices
  • diapering
  • bathing
  • soothing
  • illness
  • and many more…

Please join us to learn about caring for your baby after birth. The Loved Child strongly recommends reviewing Carole Kramer Arsenault’s (RN IBCLC) helpful book, Newborn 101: Secrets from expert Nurses on Preparing and Caring for Your Baby at Home. This class is intended for up to two of the baby’s intended caregivers and is held at the TLC Family Center- a clean, bright, and non-hospital setting. There is free & easily accessible parking.
